Souls games aren't even that difficult, once you realize you can dodge roll through almost everything the games become a breeze
They do, actually, exploration >>> combat is true in any souls game.

Sure, if your timing is good, and that means learning the boss attacks, and that usually means dying a few times.
Dark souls 1 is about exploration, everything after is just pseudo action rpg stuff. People really need to stop putting the other games with dark souls 1.

I like the Souls series a lot as is but I wouldn’t mind an easy mode. My favorite part has always been exploration and the art design, the boss battles are just a chore to get through. I beat 1 and 2 without summons but this time I’m just summoning other (better) players for every difficult boss fight.
Dark Souls 1 is a psuedo action rpg
but it could be for more people with a simple change that would impact literally nothing for the people who want it to be hard

Right but it has a much clearer emphasis on exploration. It's not full of retarded 'do everything' enemies that have a move for everything.
What these people fail to understand is that the game got difficulty options.
Summons and other mechanics can do a lot to ease the curve. The games aren't even that difficult as long as you observe your surrounding and enemies carefully.
The games have the option of being literally the easiest video game in existence. You literally summon people to play the fucking game for you, if it was any easier it'd be a fucking youtube video.
