I tried Demon's Soul back in the day and found it too slow for my liking plus I don't like the mix of action and RPG elements. So instead of bitching about FromSoftware every time they release a new game of this style, I just moved on and play other games I enjoy more such as turn-based RPGs or action games with no RPG elements.

I've never played the souls series before besides a fourth of Bloodborne, so I'm going through and playing them all before I play Elden Ring. I just beat O&S in DS1 earlier today

I haven't played any of the Souls or Souls-styled games, I've seen some trailers and basic gameplay and they don't appeal to me.
Besides, if I was going to start, why wouldn't I start with one of the cheap

I did not care for Dark Souls.

The stutters are still pretty bad on my machine. Waiting for another patch. I could play it, but I'd rather not get frustrated at the game and at lag spikes.

I don't enjoy Souls games. This entire "hitting your head against a wall despite it not being fun for a dopamine kick" is one of the worst ideas that has ever entered into a game designers mind.
