Actual other weapons, spears, guns, bows, mace.

Btw, who holds the right of Sekiro, now that Activision is bought by MS?

prequel
alt weapons
custom builds
better stealth content
improved parrying system
greater difficulty

IMO it's the only Fromsoft IP at the moment that legitimately deserves a sequel, since the good ending literally sets-up a Journey to The West kinda plotline.

There is also a prequel option with Tomoe, her shota boi and Genichiro

Sekiro 2 isn't happening for a long time probably not until at least 2025.

>improved parry system
Elaborate. How do you think it can be improved?

If Elden Ring is a sign they will make the bosses attack twice as fast and remove parrying, but also give you one prosthetic that does 5x your attack damage and stunlocks the boss to compensate.

2 more main weapons
2x the amount of mini boss types
change spirit emblems into a fighting game meter to better pace out prosthetic use in boss fights

Black samurai's.

There's nowhere for From to take the soulsborne series after Elden Ring. They're going to branch off into new genres. Sekiro 2 will never happen.

Sekiro isn’t soulsborne? It deviates from the souls formula more than any of their games since armored core

>The sequel follows on the ending where the Divine Child and Sekiro go west to return the Divine Dragon
>The game takes place in Joseon Korea during the Imjin War
>you explore areas in Korea and Northern China related to mythology and folklore of those two regions as Sekiro finds a way to return the Divine Dragon to its resting place which is in Korea. The dragon is Korean because the light blue sword it uses in the boss fight is the same as the Seven-branched sword which was a gift from a Korean Baekje ruler to an old Japanese monarch from the Yamato period.
>enemies and bosses: Ming Chinese troops and generals, Japanese troops and generals like Kiyomasa, maybe include a Jurchen boss while you're at it - basically you're fighting everyone in Korea during the war
>plot reasons for sequel - there are Rejuvenating waters in Korea that the Japanese want which is why they launched the Korean invasion. They invade just as Sekiro lands in Korea. The Japanese Toyotomi government found out about the water in Ashina during the events of the first game and now they want that Rejuvenating water so that they can create an army of immortals to take over all of Korea and China. The rejuvenating water from Ashina ran out after Sekiro and the DC took the Divine Dragon west which is why they had to go to Korea. Ming Chinese want the waters as well for same reasons. Sekiro is caught in the middle. These motives make sense because historically speaking Toyotomi Hideyoshi invaded Korea because he wanted a land route to invade China and rule all of Asia to fulfill the dreams of Oda Nobunaga his former master.
Since the first game takes place at the end of the Sengoku period, the Imjin war is a perfect setting since that takes place at the end of the Sengoku as well and is a few years after the events in Sekiro 1.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'd like to see a sequel of Purification
Game's just entirely stealth with Kuro escaping people who still think he can grant immortality

>The game takes place in Joseon Korea during the Imjin War
Man, wouldn't that be cool? coming from a Japanese game developers with Japanese audience and their current sentiments with Koreans though, i kinda doubt it'll be a thing.
