All I really know is there will be a late 2023 release date, there will be new grand prix modes where the controller type needs to be uniform among all players, apparently there will be some sort of cross-platform compatibility with the mobile mario kart game but I can't even imagine what that might look like. Also, battle mode is not a part of the game.
E3 2022 will have a teaser, screenshot this
