Why would you buy a PS5 when Xbox has gamepass? God of War? Gran Turismo...

Gamepass just doesn't work for me, I like to have the game available indefinitely. Starting a game just for it to get removed from the catalogue a couple of months later fucking sucks.

In my case there was never any doubt with over 100 digital PS4 games I was sticking with the Sony ecosystem rolling with PS5 was logical. I don’t even like many of the exclusives of either platform, don’t play racing games so Forza and Gran Turismo don’t interest me, not a big fan of first person shooters so I’ll pass on Halo. I do prefer third person games luckily there make up the majority of games today along with jrpg’s. As long as consoles keep getting the games I like I’ll stick with em. Hell two of my highest playtime games are a mmo and a gaas lol, I like games that have coop with friends. Having a blast with Elden Ring currently but excited for Strangers of Paradise soon.

GamePass is a super good value but it won’t ever replace my ongoing library of digital games.

This. iRacing and Assetto Corsa are probably the best games for serious driving. Other might as well play The Crew or old need for speed games (i personally prefer TDU1)

Doesn't really matter when, only that it's inevitable. Some people aren't mindless consoomers who need to play a game on release but are capable of waiting.
