I'll start
>Reskined bosses
The game suffers heavily from an abundance of mini-dungeons that serve no purpose other than making you fight the same boss you fought three dungeons ago but now with more health and a different name. Those dungeons are only there to pad time.

In the past, Soulsfags complained about fighting the Asylum Demon three times, yet they eat this shit ER spouting out with a grin. At least the Asylum Demon brothers had different mechanics and some variations.

This is unexcusable

My main problem is me missing a lot of good shit, I'm still in volcano manor and I missed the fucking great rune thingy in stormveil castle

The game is genuinely too fucking long. There's so much optional shit that I will absolutely be looking up a guide for a second playthrough and beelining for all the stuff I absolutely need. As usual, a lot of rare or unique gear is also locked behind mid/lategame quests, which makes things really annoying. My endgame outfit is this stylish thing, which requires a whole ton of work to put together.

enemy tracking is really bad. they can instantly 180 to smack you. its not as bad as dark souls 2, but its still bad

>"pvp" community wants a "meta" level that is too low to even invade people in the later stages of their first playthrough
Game is fucking huge and you have over half a dozen areas that are optional alone that give you 500k or more rune a dungeon.

I don't even know what the intended endgame level is yet. I'm walking around Miquella's Haligtree at SL140 and that seems about right.

The fact that Soulsfags refuse to allow any criticism of their game, meaning ER had the same shitty gameplay decisions that were present a decade ago.

Too many fights against easy bosses that throw in trash mobs for cheap difficulty

Most bosses don't give a fuck when I smack them with a colossal 2h greatsword.

Melina is overrrated. Fuck that whore.

>Depressing shit ambient music

invaders can invade anyone higher level than them

can't wait for jannies to delete this thread as they have been most of the threads critical of elden ring
The game peaks at Stormveil Castle and gradually sinks to its rightful place as least enjoyable souls game
I hope you like replaying the same miserable boring bosses 8 times each!

Too much copy & paste bosses, mobs and buildings. The game is massive so guess it would be hard to keep it all original, but really takes away from how good it could have been with more originality in.

Many boss fights, especially late game, are arbsurdly unfair and unbalanced for pure melee builds, instead appearing to be optimized for summons and magic use. Others are drawn out borefests like fire giant that take forever.

Bosses to coked up, character not strong enough. We should have had a bloodborne step dodge or a sekiro parry.

>Enemies have heat seeking projectiles that always find their way to
>VEC3 player.Chestbone
>Ranged enemies keep shooting into walls and obstacles, even if you're hidding, implying that they know your exact location without clear line of sight

The overworld is fucking pointless, there's zero threat to any boss because you can simply run away from them on Torrent. The castles, caves and basically anywhere that Torrent isn't allowed is pretty good, but fuck, I really hate the pointlessly big overworld.

This, many ultra weapons don’t really do much more damage than smaller quicker weapons, and also are atrociously slower than the acrobatic, hit and run bosses.

The greatsword was such a disappointment.

>fight a boss
>make a charged L2 attack with my sword
>pierce next to him although I am locked on the boss

Ejaculation fluid on my disc

Mine is how obtuse it is finding all the cookbooks especially if they have a really important item. I still haven't found the one that gives the Boluses for Scarlet Rot and I'm sure I missed it somewhere when that's really important as there are no places to buy them en masse otherwise, those are the items they should really just let you buy from merchants past a certain point if you don't have them already.

They made a fuckhuge map but not enough content to fill it with. Dunno if it was just miscalculation on scale or if covid fucked them that hard, but they'd need at least 2 times as much enemies and bosses to make it feel not repetetive, and considering how much they already have, that is a lot.
I wonder how big the DLC for this game will be.

I was at about that same level in the Haligtree and ended the game at 162
