Hitman is only fun when you already know the levels and what to do
sorry for posting on /eldenring/
Here you go OP
wmm
i find learning hitman levels really tedious unlike other stealth titles.
Typing catcha in the wrong field, excuse my hangover
It's fun if you don't insist too much in a single playing section. Failing the same level without resting invariably makes you angry.
Daily reminder if you didn't beat every level in a Hitman game glitchless suit only silent assassin no knockouts default loadout on the highest difficulty, you didn't beat the game.
Wrong. older Hitmen are fun because of the discovery and learning of the levels ,at least for me. Entering a new level and exploring it and thinking of ways to get around enemies is exciting.
it's fun the first time too when you go blind. Then is fun to mess around and find different murder opportunities
constant anxiety and paranoia of being found out is exciting in a bad way
>tranquillizer gun
>emetic gun
>remote emetic charge
>remote taser
>poison syringe
if you used any of this you didn't actually play the game, you just wanted to win with no effort
So basically just cheese it with coins
I guess the knowledge of the levels could be explained as agent 47 having an exceptional intuition, after all he briefly mentions it in H2 Silent Assassin.
What if ICA provided him with a map and pictures first instead of a wall of text?
I haven't played a Hitman game since Blood Money but what you essentially do is play through it guns-blazing first and then when you replay it you fuck around in it to figure out the best way to get a higher ranking for the mission.
If you haven't SASO'd Death of a Snowman you aren't a real Hitman fan
What did that snowman ever do to you?
It is more fun when you know the level layouts. Hitman's fun is more about improvising when you fuck up, which makes learning the levels fun, then perfecting the levels and coming up with creative silent assassin runs once you understand the systemic mechanics and level layouts.
The only levels that suck ass to learn are the extremely large ones like Colombia and Mumbai. The worst levels are the poorly designed ones where IO Interactive were still trying to figure out good map design, such as Bangkok and Colorado (which to be fair this map was outsourced to Sumo Digital I think).
The emetic gun is the only thing there that can really be classified as cheese, and even then it has limited ammo. All the other items have some kind of trade off.
The most OP starting loadout you can possibly get for most levels is:
>Emetic gun
>coins
>Lethal syringe
>tranquilliser gun from a bonus pick up
t. has nearly 1000 hours across the whole WoA trilogy
I did that once. Never again. It’s almost as bad as trying to SASO Hidden Valley.
so in your head easier = fun
I respect your opinion bro, but I prefer to learn on the way and if I lose because I made a mistake for not knowing the level, I lose
I won't stop having fun because of it
I would say the cheesiest setup will always be the Electric Phone in HITMAN 2. You could literally Silent Assassin most elusive targets in seconds, it's no surprise they removed it from HITMAN 3 due to how overpowered and cheesy it was.
Blood Money is perfectly fine if you're going into it blind
the reboot and its sequel however suck dick when it comes to this, since you need to follow very specific paths and trigger events in order to unlock more content, it completely destroys any sense of discovery when you literally get told what you need to do
>not doing blind saso
I just shoot literally everybody in every mission
Hitman is more fun to dick around in the level then actually play the game
