Paradox Games

it's not that hard to understand it

Not like they're hard, just tedious and unintuitive to newcomers. Especially HoI4.

I have over 4k hours in HoI4.

It’s worse than that, the game itself is busted and tortured into looking legit. I remember in this game the naval invasions for a long time had to be activated using the enter key and NOTHING ELSE or it wouldn’t Activate the invasion.

Naval management is a total headache. The peace conference system fucking sucks. And worst of all. Entire fucking continents like South America and Africa have almost no flavor at all. Just generic focus trees and generic everything. Why even include them in the game if they’re going to be useless?

If this game was not wrapped in ww2, then nobody would play it

I unironically don't know how to play Hearts of Iron 4. I can play 3 just fine.

You just start playing and restart every time you learn a mechanic and realize you've made a huge mistake not using it earlier.

they made hoi 4 extremely easy compares to hoi 3, which i still don't get today. still remember how i played hoi 3 the tutorial and literally didn't understand the game at all.

HoI is the only paradox series I haven't tried. Wars are the most tedious parts of their games and this game is just one long war.

But Hoi4 is the most braindead grand strategy game Paradox has ever created, EU3 is more complex than this shit and it almost an actual map painter.

This is wrong and you don't know how to set up naval invasions. Control click works just as well as enter.

I'm getting filtered at the fucking tutorial.

These games are autism text simulators for people too lacking in motor skills for an RTS.

Modern Paradox is the most braindead shit and zoomers still can't get into it? kek

They have all the depth of a puddle, Paradox just doesn't know how to make a UI that actually communicates useful information without going into menus within menus

>have to watch a tutorial video to find out that apparently I'm supposed to make sure my units have line of sight when I deploy them

Play not Italy instead.

Is that Graviteam Tactics?

ye

Wait is the guy on the left just that one US soldier from dr Strangelove?

CK2 tutorials filtered me hard. too much shit to do

I have never watched a single tutorial video for CK2 and only got by by pure guesswork. I conquered most of the map with Bulgaria a few games later.

I feel like I'm in the bizarro world sometimes. I easily grasped CKII from the moment I picked it up, but HoI4's factory and unit composition micromanagement filtered me from the tedium of it all.

complete opposite for me, I can't get into other paradox games because of the barrage of dlc and thousands of menus you have to go through
in hoi4 you just build fighters+cas and infantry and win

>Got filtered on CK2
>the easiest one of all Paradox Games
YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS. I simply refuse that you could be that stupid.
