me either

>playing it solely because of peer pressure
gamers these days are fucking drones, no concept of fun whatsoever

Embrace ranni and throw moons at bosses.

Then get even

Get a big shield, summon and use magic.
Congratulations you unlocked the easy mode

You don't have to beat any of the main bosses, there's a "secret" path past the first two bosses that leads into the rest of the world and you can gather all the estus and shit. The only thing that's really hard are the bosses and their areas, the open world is braindead easy and you can jsut hoover everything up on the map at level 1

>peer pressure
granted I pirated it because of the hype, but I've always wanted to start a souls game one of these days. And they were right that the game is fun

But then I am filtered if I stop playing

I get killed by most enemies

>Farm mats for elemental arrows
>Make said arrows
>Use summons
>Use magic when out of summons

This game is like any other souls game in that it's only hard when you make it hard for yourself. Either bash your head against the wall until it breaks, learn & adapt or prepare.

And where do I farm?

many such cases

>I get killed by most enemies
Just run away with your horse, also you should only be putting points into vigor early unless you're a mage

Nigger look what you need to craft for example poison arrows & then either;
>Take note of what you need and mark anywhere you find ingredients on your map.
Or
>Be a wikifag

Run away until what? I have to get runes eventually

the only reason you need runes is to access the next spell/weapon. You should never be pumping 5 levels of an attack stat at a time because scaling in this game is absolute trash. The first stat you should focus on is vigor until at LEAST 1000 HP

Force yourself to play it, you will get good eventually

There are plenty of casuals beating souls games and you can too

summons take care of everything in this game.

>die 50 times
>grind to lvl 14
>comeback
>still get analed
>uninstall
yeah fuck your shitty souls games, glad i didn't pay for this garbage

There's a difference between tedium and difficulty, just because you made a boss that spins around like an anime deuteragonist for 10 minutes with 1 second of room to get a hit in, doesn't mean you made it hard.

Oh you mean that path by the Finger chick, past the broken bridge? Up the side of the mountain?

I got that Bonfire and then went back to castle to do it, as to not get ahead. Was surprised when it spat you back out there after Godrick.

Can you go backwards through to Godrick? Or is that door closed.

and you decided to start with one of the hardest souls games out there, no wonder you cant git gud

try DS1 first

Few tips if you're stuck
>If you're still in limgrave, go south. There's tons of churches and good weapons
>This isn't dark souls. Explore. Use more buttons than circle and R1. guard counter, weapon arts, jumping attacks, heavy attacks that are charged... These deal massive damage and can break their poise
>Summon people. The ashes suck unless you upgrade them
>Look on the foggy maps for a pillar - that's the map for the area. Then look for a black/red spot that looks like an open sore - that's a mine. Get crafting materials there and upgrade your shit

BROS I JUST FOUND THE GREAT EPEE AND CAN NOW MURDER THE FUCK OUT OF TOWERSHIELD ENEMIES I'M HAVING SO MUCH FUN AAAAAAAAAA

It's unlearning muscle memory. With all the delayed windup attacks you're fucked if you just watch hands/weapon like older games. Also these delayed moves are often the start or middle of combos with instant followups, so you fuck the first roll you're dead.

Also the fact there seems to be way more dynamic combos now. Where the A.I. will just cancel a combo early.

Just count the delay. Then whenever you see that combo roll a little earlier than what you counted.

>Can you go backwards through to Godrick?
I don't think so, never cared to try

idk user I'm really liking the open world meme here, and I noticed that the game isn't that punishing with how abundant the points of graces are even in dungeons. and not to mention the summons which help a tremendous amount. I'm having an unironic blast

I love how open it is, one of the biggest gripes is how far away some things are in other games, weapons you have to wait a long ass time to get, behind multiple bosses and areas. So much of the map is accessible right from the start if you can survive it.

Try harder.

Level up if you are struggling, also level up your weapon. Also get pic related, the special is op.
