I forgot that I haven't finished it whoops. Need to get back to that.

It wasn't quite Twinsanity-tier kino but it tried. It's pretty much what I wanted from a new Crash after Twinsanity came out, even if the titan mtuant detour wasn't too bad and CTR remake was nice. I hope TFB and Beenox are given the second chance to make a Crash game that TT Oxford never got.

I hate it as much as i love it. Very difficult feelings.
I believe given a second chance Tfb could make something truly great.

Still better than TWOC

That's easy to do

It get good after you stop playing it

Yeah same i think i was almost at the end. Their is a shitload of content though. The 100% would make soulsfags cry.

It's a really good platformer.
Too many collectables though, makes getting 100% a headache.

I saw this game playing at a game store and thought it was some generic crash ripoff, but then the next level had crash in it.

it's pretty good

Great fucking game.

If there was a game that embodied mixed feelings it would be this one
>plays nicely
>gimmicks are peppered throught but not overused, like crash 3
>humour is nostalgic,
>captures that 'mid 90s saturday morning cartoon' vibes the series was based off to a T
>lots of levels/ content, both easy and hard, something for everyone.
And yet for some reason the pieces just dont quite come together like they used to. the game is less than the sum of its parts, and thats a damn shame because it could have been much more, See: CTR (which despite the online being abysmal ended up being amazing)

They should have remade Wrath of Cortex or Twinsanity (Arguably considering the elementals were left over in the launch day digital release before quickly being patched out, they likely were)
There was obviously a good ass game in those games under the issues caused by getting rushed.
Ditching the ENTIRE CONTINUITY for the new lore established in a mobile game that NOBODY played on the idea they were going to try and reboot the series was a retarded idea, and even both Titans and Mutant knew better than to try to do that.
Downgrading moveset Powerups to set piece gimmicks is a downgrade from Crash 3 a game from 16 years ago isn't really, acceptable.
And it's sort of a statement on how they felt about their level design that Relics were only used an excuse to replay levels, and the N. Verted stages sort of signifying that even TFB didn't even think their stages were worth revisiting on their own.
But the absolute worst, unavoidable and inevitable problem with IAT is that unlike most assy crash games in the series, it's not plagued with development issues that reveal an even better game could have potentially been made. This was their best attempt.
And that is so fucking painful there aren't words for it.

Hate the redesigns aside from Dingo looking pretty awesome and whoever did the Crate placement should be blacklisted from Vidya-related work forever. Apart from that it's ok, if you asked me if I'd rather play this or the Trilogy I'd still pick the trilogy by a mile tho

could be worse, could be titans designs

I would say many of the problema would be fixed if they just made the levels as short as in the original game. I played a handful of challenging games, yet this is the only time I actually feel that they don't respect my time. ("LMAOOL u missed one box xD" on almost every stage).

Exactly what a Crash 4 should be, take Warped and give it more challenge, more mechanics, more touches to level design than "urrrr let's have everything in front of you" than was only good on early games. Only flaws of the game is the perfect relics and N verted levels.

Give us Aussie Shitposter Tawna ya cunts

>Only flaws of the game is the perfect relics and N verted levels.
I never had any issues with the N.verted levels or the perfect relics. It's the platinum relics that can go fuck themselves.

The game has too many collectibles for 100% to actually be enjoyable, I think the limit was at Crash 3 with Crystals, Gems and Relics, adding more than that is just padding and taking too much of your time, it doesn't help the levels are also way longer than Crash 3 ones

This.
I was getting Donkey Kong 64 flashbacks when I was playing Crash 4.
