Games need more accessibility features and good UX like this

can you add an ubisoft tower in the distance?

Elden RIng is already 80% a typical generic AAA game, might as well go the last 20%.

numbers for the hp and fp bars would actually be an improvement

a minimap would unironically be good

minimaps kill immersion

WHAT IS UX

Kill yourself

This. As long as you can toggle it off. Theres already a map screen so a minimap would be ideal.

>discord raid trannies now spamming "Ubishit good"
how low can you go?

Japanese don't care about UX

UX comes from software development and it basically incorporates usability and ease of use of your software. It makes sense it standard software development because in the vast majority of apps and programs all that matters is doing the task as easily and cleanly as possible. It's usually primarily tied to UI design, but it's not necessarily just that, since stuff like the amount of time that a task takes for example is also part of the equation.
When applied literally to video games, what UX designers end up doing is dumbing down and ruining the playing experience to appeal to retards by doing the same shit that they do to usual everyday apps. They don't understand that video games are not a fucking e-commerce page, having a shiny easy to click button that says "WIN THE GAME" does not make for a better user experience in video games.

holy kek that walk

you're whats wrong with the industry

SOUL

why do you have to make everything political?

UX is fine for shit like use and use selected options and other QoL stuff, most of the principles include the user's feedback
Dumbing down gameplay is either weak game design ers or pure corporate greed
UX aims to achieve usability of the application, not dumbing down

UX professionals hard at work
