I just beat this game, but i feel like the ending kinda fell flat. Did i miss something? I think i followed through every side quest, and ignored a lot of the political stuff. Does the church stuff go anywhere?
I just beat this game, but i feel like the ending kinda fell flat. Did i miss something...
Nope
you missed nothing, this is a commie game and like all SJW garbage this aline make it a masterpiece.
Did you fuck up and let Kim get shot?
It certainly is a commie game, i find it funny that while it is a commie game, i looked up the fact that you can get a portrait change by being a facist (the only thing that effects the portrait outside of shaving and The Expression) and ends up promoting facism and other things through its writing, i think its an attempt to be neutral because honestly the communards only looked bad in this game.
Nope, Kim was entirely fine. I never got the gun from Evart, nobody died outside of the few hardie boys in the tribunal.
this is not fascism
Fascism is not fuck minorities and women.
this is just authoritarian garbage,
but fuck minorities and women are based
I hope you talked to the bug. That part was brilliant, then getting reamed out by your old partner was shit.
>but i feel like the ending kinda fell flat. Did i miss something?
No. A lot of people complained about the ending.
>Does the church stuff go anywhere?
You can turn it into a dance club and potentially get Kim to dance or yell racial slurs at him. I think I prefer the Dolores Dei lore.
I did. While there was paranormal stuff in the setting, i thought itd never get explicitly shown, it was very interesting.
I read about that, i also prefer the dolores lore, i was moreso asking about the "Mother of silence" and the crab man, that looked like it was building to something especially because the church roof has ladders all over it on the outside that you cant access.
Yeah I don't think the crab man stuff leads to anything unfortunately
What a shame, i was wondering if perhaps Ruby's pale wave emitter was the cause of the sound hole or something.
>try disco elysium
>game asks me to pick a politic side
>pick the most reasonable one
>"urr durr youre fascist"
>suddenly my character goes on racist rants
>restart
>pick the unreasonable ones
>"hurr durr your're communist"
>game then takes every opportunity to remind me that communism never worked
>do my best to stay neutral
>game insults me constantly for being a fencesitter
>refund it
If you're one of these devs who feel like shoving your political opinion in the game, have the decency to not shit on people who don't want to get into that kind of argument.
I just tried to ignore every political option and in the end kim calls me a far right racist so i guess its accurate to the current political discourse in 2022
OP...unfortunately, you're retarded...my condolences
Is it retarded that the killer for a murder mystery is a character introduced at the last second? I know he had a deep background tied to the lore, but he's literally someone who only appears in the last 10 minutes of the game.
>was the cause of the sound hole
Did you finish the quest? It's explained there. The sound-hole is not really a sound-hole. It's baby pale.
Did you talk to Joyce about the Pale?
I'm sorry
I talked to joyce about it BEFORE i went to the church the first time, so i dont think that dialogue ever came up
What the fuck is baby pale
It's kind of the point that he's a nobody; the situation in Revachol was so dire that all it took was for some dipshit recluse on bugdrugs shooting a guy for everything to go tits up.
THAT BEING SAID, the detective mystery is the weakest part of the game. Harry's personal story and discovery, the lore, and the characters is what you should be focusing on instead.
Oh, well i found out most of Harry's stuff before the mystery was solved, so the mystery was really what made me finish the game. The gym teacher revelation was absolutely hilarious though, and talking about his background just made me want to SEE more of it, not just hear it through character dialogue.
I'm not saying it didn't make sense from a story perspective, i just wished that there was more of a mystery, there's mystery in a lot of parts of this game except for the main plotline of it, which is rather ironic, but very........ Disco
Brainletbro...it's fine
The hole in the church is explicitedly called baby pale as an over simplification of what it is. It's a hole in reality where pale will eventually form and grow. So yes, the pale IS growing outside the Porch Collapse. The moralist vision quest has you follow up on this by contacting the moralist higher ups themselves and taking responsability.
What the fuck, so simply because i interacted with two things in the wrong order, i didnt discover the moralist vision quest???? I just thought it was absent from the game, that sounds awesome.
Can you give me a quick rundown? i dont want to go back and replay a large portion of the game just so i can experience it
