Well you called the boss shit without explaining whatsoever, and the general consensus is that its a very good boss with complicated moveset thats annoying people because of difficulty, hence the complaints.
Noones complaning that its a "bad" boss.

If you want to make that complaint then at least target ie. Tree Spirit, since thats something legitimate, and for multiple reasons, like camera or boss literally clipping through environment constantly with its spazzing moveset.
Margarita is just a hard boss with well made moveset designed to punish panic rollers and people that sprint away and think theyre safe

i had a hard time with him because i was underleveled using the starting weapons. i went to weeping isle, got the bloodhound fang and came back and killed him in like 3 hits

Might've made the difference for victory but goddamn that was underwhelming. He doesn't have any attacks worth interrupting with it so it's just a free hit or two

I've explained plenty of times why this boss is poorly designed and cannot be bothered to argue with From cultists anymore. It's a pointless endeavour because nothing will convince you that anything in this game could not be poorly or not intentionally badly designed. There's always some reason or think around that was intended which makes you think it's bad when it's not actually like you're just not good enough to surmount the boss or can't comprehend Miyazaki's genius or whatever.

Margit was tough, especially if you are under leveled and under skilled. After I defeated him, it was easy. Ended up laying down a sign to help other noobs like you and me for the rest of the night.

I'm past Renalla, about level 33 and at a total loss for what to do. I felt like the game was opening up after I figured out Margit but now I got no idea where to go or how to get runes/smithing stones for levels and weapon upgrades. Everything is still too tanky and does too much damage to me and it's getting old

I got so scared by all the fear mongering of this boss that I got to level 62 and annihilated him in one shot.

It is mainly people who just run down the first path they see and face him at a low level. Then instead of exploring a bit just hit their head against a rock for hours. You don't need to seriously grind, just have more than nothing going for you.

Also generally not understanding mechanics. He staggers so easily if you jump heavy him a lot, and this game is so generous with stamina.

20 hours in and i haven't even attempted him. im autistically clearing out EVERYTHING first. i did all of west limgrave, mistwood/east limgrave, weeping peninsula, and im almost done stormhill. i imagine ill be over-prepared for him

elden ring is my first actual from soft game considering i only played an hour of DS3 and when i first got to margit i ate shit over and over but then rethought my strategy and beat him first try. you are the problem, not the fight.
