RNG is bad

The reason why I stopped playing this game was because of the sheer amount of farming that's required just to play it. Why would you design a game that revolves around dashboard quitting 500+ times? Almost every build requires you to have specific gear and weapons. And you also have to do outside research to see which gear and weapons as re viable.
There's no reason to play this game after the first time you beat it. It's not even like Dark Souls-levels of fun where if you get better it, it pays off. Borderlands is just a grindfest.

Then you clearly only beat the normal mode and didn't try any of the dlcs.

Especially the drop rates for legendaries.

I also dislike the skill trees of every character, 1 was pretty straight forward while tps and 3 made you pretty powerful right of the bat. Worst of all is that they released a dlc many years later and they could have fixed all the retarded broken shit but they didn't. Apparently there is a community patch that makes the game bareable to play.

This is not true in the slightest. Axton can literally blow people up with his Blue tree alone, and the legendaries to complement it are easy to get. All this because explosive element is bonkers in the game, and Grenade Damage reaches the heavens on him. Plasma Casters are purple and yet was my most powerful weapon because the orbs from it did splash damage thus counting as Grenades. Since the fire 5 orbs per shot, it gets crazy

Second is debatable but the entire core of the game is reaching new heights of power and pitting it against harder enemies. Its an RPG.

I beat it recently for the first time with brick and it was indeed pretty fun although incredibly flawed, the DLCs are also not bad aside from moxxi one which I'll never beat because I refuse to do thatany rounds without being able to quit

1 had better scaling and weapons. 2 had vastly superior area design, enemy variety, and AI to the point where I noticed it within 10 minutes of first playing BL2. I don't understand why they fucked up so much that worked perfectly in BL1.

Axton is the least viable character at higher levels.

I didn't get 3 because apparently it blows up consoles. I own both the pro and the one X.

Harder, but not impossible in the slightest. And as you reach higher levels, in any game, you need to use good weapons that excel the build. I have beaten OP8 Digistruct with Grenade Axton and while Tediore Reload is kinda required, the same can be said for other classes that require the better item combos to excel

I have it on my low end pc and the game is horribly optimized, errors happen all the time sadly and it is not just because my pc is shit that will never change because they o ly update the game without seasonal stuff now

And you had to grind for hours to get the proper weapons and gear which is my point. That's only half the issue. Then you have to constantly strip shields or slag everything. I can't even enjoy playing Zero

Thats at the highest level. In any game, if you do the highest level without good gear, you will be clapped. Thats what an RPG does to incentivize you to go look for gear, which in BL2, is easy to get because unlike 3, you only need to get the weapon, its not clogged with other loot in the pool because its increased by killing a certain boss, and you blow enemies up in seconds because all the weapons in the game were made powerful, even the blue ones from quests.

This all means nothing of course if you dont play on OP levels, as you could go melee Axton and wipe out enemies with ease

Just use gibbed user, I also don’t get how the fuck the community finds it fun to fight a boss they can mow down easily many times just to get a shiny gun, there’s better things to spend that time on
