Horizon Dev insults Elden Ring

Wow, it turns out that Snoy devs are just as bad as the Snoy fanboys. I will never play your Ubisoft Clone. The absolute state of Sony. Back then, they used to be the apex of Japanese gaming. Now? They best rename Playstation Studios into "Ubisoft Japan" because most attempts that they've had at making ay making a game that isn't a movie, they just end up copying the Ubisoft open world formula. BORING! TRASH!

>They best rename Playstation Studios into "Ubisoft Japan"
More like "Ubisoft California"

this guy is gonna get fired, period. You cant be this much of a baby of 1. aknowledge that a different title is superior than yours and 2. openly create controversy between two corporations

>horizon ux

>Game with good gameplay gets good reviews
>This makes western devs that build their games on narrative, graphics and fluff seethe
kek

At least he's still acting based on something his game tries to have, remeber the stupid ass God of War guy twitter drama about how Dread's world was poorly designed while his games a literal hallways?

I'm not a fan of the souls games myself, but I can't deny the way they do quests is brilliant.
These 'game-developers' should honestly be ashamed of themselves.
Especially that seething Horizon dev.

Horizon honestly has the best graphics I've ever seen and the combat against the machine animals is extremely fun. However, the generic open world filler structure of the game, the overt and aggressive wokeness (literally niggers everywhere in what is supposed to be post apocalypse Utah and Nevada lmao), writing, and main character's voice acting leave a lot to be desired and frankly kill the game. Also, fighting human enemies is boring. Elden Ring is the least of Guerilla Games worries because they are different enough games to easily co-exist. The rot must be purged from the development team because the foundation of the gameplay and its lore ans aesthetics are honestly quite good and unique in a fresh way and could easily be made more popular without the stupid shit bogging it down.

Fucking kek
Not like Horizon has good quest design, it's typical Ubisoft shit.

They're salty that Horizon Forbidden Flop sold 2.5 x worse than Elden Ring.

Commiefornians and dumb Dutchmen/trannies BTFO.

The first game that got all 9/10's, you can literally hide in bushes and whistle every enemy to your one hit kill move one by one

What's ux?

Horizon Forbidden West has decent side content, and they actually put effort into the animation budget so dialog is actually dynamic and not just "blank faces talk to each other"
Horizon is also a better looking game, no doubt about that.
That doesn't make it better than Elden Ring though. I can't stand this narrative that the "inferior" game is somehow bad.
They're both good for different reasons, but Elden Ring is definitely more innovative by applying open world to the Souls formula. I also prefer its approach to navigation, I think modern open worlds are far too willing to put the player on guide rails, defeating the purpose of the open world. Horizon also has some difficulty scaling issues, although I have to admit the custom difficulty settings are a clever solution to this.
Anyway I guess my point is that I like both games and I genuinely feel bad the Horizon series has had to release against extremely good games in a similar genre TWICE.

User experience, ie game menus, hud, and overall presentation

User interface experience. How the UI is designed and how the player react and use it.

Let's not sit here and pretend that western UX design or art direction is good nowadays.
Because it's not.

I'm reading them so that you don't have to. Taking one for the team, user-sama.

Western games generally have better UX design.
