I really enjoyed Panama because of the soundtrack

The New York levels are probably the best from start to finish, mission 2 in the club as well. I like all parts of them but most of the other levels have some moments that drag. Airport is great after you leave the baggage room but then dips down at the Becker fight and runway chase.

Anyone do NYM Hardcore? I've tried twice and first timed ended in mission 13 and the other at the graveyard flashback because of two handed weapons not switching shoulders during last man standing.

for me it was the abandoned hotel or whatever, definitely my favorite level in the game, I loved the spooky atmosphere of it and the music was great

And so it begins afresh, another foil torn off for a fix, after a quick pounding.
And in the third act, he starts monologuing himself, instead of hearing Max.

yeah max payne 2 was a bit shit, had some cool moments though

best max payne is max payne 1 with the kung fu mod, doing slow motion backflips with the shotgun while shooting is so fun

I don't think there should be a Max Payne 4 but I do want a spiritual successor. 3 is a very mixed bag as its gameplay, physics, gunplay are top notch but its all dragged down by the constant interruptions, setpieces, scripted moments, on-rails segments and levels being quite small with encounters.
