dude mods and emulators are literally the only reason why you would play games on a pc

Mods are a plus and are optional. I like to play games vanilla then if possible, mod them later if I so wish. Being able to mod or alter a game keeps me invested longer than I would have been normally.

As a consolefag, mods seem like a cool way to add replayability to games. Either for actual play or just shits and giggles.

i absolutely support modding, and while I'm not less inclined to play a game just because there is no modding community, I am absolutely less inclined to play games in which the devs actively discourage modding, but this is fairly rare; i pretty much just don't play nintendo games.

Mods are great. The best mods are simple and small because there is less chance that the modder fucks something up, either in terms of code or gameplay.

Well I am in that people can bring their creative ideas to life, only problem is its ussually just making the female characters look like porn stars.
