Remember when Any Forums pretended to like this fighting game because it was a dumbed down enough party even they couldn't be filtered by it but then two weeks passed and they all dropped it? Now it's dead because the real fans don't want it either, this is why fighting games should never appeal to casuals.

Any Forums is always wrong
literally all the games I like have been because I go against what Any Forums says

Arcsys is dead because you shilled fighterz and this

No one plays fighting games because no one likes them.

Cope, you killed Guilty Gear

I got hundreds of hours out of enjoyment from this game. I stopped playing it because it's been like 8 months and a bunch of other games came out.

Any Forums hates fighting games and will find excuses to complain about them no matter what devs do. Just play what you like and ignore the board when this genre is concerned.

Baiken was such a huge shift in player numbers that once baikendoods left it literally killed the enthusiasm for at least 1k players

now that most people quit can i get to 10f easier?

No, because dead games are populated almost entirely by tryhards with smurf accounts who repeatedly make the climb just to stomp on new blood and get that endorphin rush of seeing their rank go up. Anyone who would have given you an appropriate challenge for your skill level has already quit.

You can't blame casuals for buying the game. Who you must blame is the Guilty Gear community that shilled the game. You had people like Jiyuna and Novriltaki larping as hardcore gamers through all of Xrd and then do a complete flip after the first beta of Strive and talking about accessibility when Strive was just completely dumbed down and not ''accessible''. Muh casuals muh gatekeep is the saddest cope, devs listen to feedback and the feedback about Strive was positive and now you reap what you sow. You shilled the game because you wanted the series to get more recognition and this was the price. Or have you already forgotten people like Kizzie who literally said they hate the game but that they shill it because it's the new Arcsys thing and hope they will fix it later? It's not casuals who ruined this game but the Guilty Gear community of redditor larpers. Blazblue and its visual novel coomers larping as fighting game players is next.

I play this everyday and finding matches in strive takes less time than SFV once you get into a good lobby this system is still trash jesus

Everyone can just go to fl10 anyway, but it is probably harder now that everyone is better at the game

The issue is all the ecelebs keeping the hype going on want to desperately get out of the FGC as streamers so they are all putting all their eggs on elden ring trying to get a new leash on life

I also remember how fags like OP hyped up new Melty blood as saviour of ultra very deep le complex fighting games and yeah...
guilty queer was never alive tho lmfao.
thats a cope. guilty queer is dead and always was dead it was used for larping as being hardcore tranny club. if you faggots think this game would have more players as of right now if it would play differently then you are delusional guilty tranny.

>he couldn't get to the highest floor in days after the game came out
the absolute state of strive players
in this game you can unironically choose who to fight and climb with negative winrate how are you hard stuck in ANY floor

what do you guys mean by "dead"?

That's right but at least before Strive it was dead but good, now it's dead AND SHIT.

It really is true. Fighting games got playable online just in time for everyone to realize that they don't really like fighting games.

>quilty queer
>good
lmao.

As soon as a game loses players Any Forums calls it dead regardless of actually playability

>600-1000 players
>not dead
it's a wasteland even for fighting game standards and especially with that trash matchmaking

that's simply not true
