I checked my games on the Steam website and apparently of my 700 game library 650 were untested
Does not seem good to me
And nothing of value was lost
GMod, a source engine game, does not work on the deck
wow lol this shit came out 5 years too early
>show off strive playing on the deck in advertisements
>it isn't even supported
what the fuck is wrong with valve?
I have over 8000 games and 95% were untested.
>people just saying "deck"
fucking awesome, very Gibsonian.
hmmm
>Working on adding support
What a shit show. You're absolutely right that it's insane they advertised it but it's "unsupported" on launch.
>steam says its unsupported
>acts like that stops you from playing it
picrel is real cringe. Who the fuck sits with someone else at a desk and looks at this tiny screen? just get a fucking PC and TV or even a console. steamdeck is alright if you absolutely want to have portability and play alone with the damn thing but this is just bullshit
Show proof that it works
>lemme just take my 77" TV to the park real quick
>or an airplane
>or the office
>or a school if I was a child
You're the cringe one here bruh
+R chads we won
they anticipate the threat/pushback from switch owners. regardless, this device will cater to people who are already tech savvy for the most part who will be using it as a dual system.
i plan on using it as a shared backup system at home
its a PC.
Hang on a second...
I just played GMod on linux the other day.
Why would it not be deck supported?
And strive is gold rated on ProtonDB.
This is a bait thread, isn't it.

It does work, but it has to compile a shader cache it sounds like which is probably why they consider it "unsupported" because they don't want to hand the game off to the autistic fighting game community only to find that it stutters when it loads in assets for the first time even if it only happens once.
Oh boy it's 23rd tendie seeth thread this hour! Exciting
Rent free.
It shows Strive, KoFXIII, Tekken 7, and FighterZ as unsupported and only has KoF2002UM as verified, I feel like it might be something about modern console fighting game ports and handheld generally. (although I know the last one has EAC shitting things up anyways and KoFXIII does have problems on proton)
Somehow Yakuza 3 is verified and Yakuza 4 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 is verified and Yakuza 6 is unsupported too. Don't ask me how FFI-IV are verified but FFV is "supported" when they all use the exact same engine and UI, so I guess the same Valve RNG is in effect as getting your game approved for Steam.
It also can’t run the finished version of Artifact Foundry that Valve promised but never released.
Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.
