Daily reminder that the only reason why Nintendo has special privileges compared to other Japanese companies is strictly because Yoshiaki Koizumi's dad use to be the Prime Minister of Japan.
If Koizumi wasn't at Nintendo they would of killed off their hardware team after BOTW and other then the few remaining 3DS games they had left they will be reserved on mobile gacha games like everyone else, but instead Koizumi single handily saved Japan's console market, strictly because Koizumi's dad use to be Japan's Prime Minister.
