Yes, There was a Zelda Netflix show planned as well as a Star Fox Puppet show planned made by collgehumor. Nintendo chose to not work with these individuals anymore because they were leaking their own shit and info about working with Nintendo and Nintendo saw them as bad business partners and decided to scrape the whole thing and cancel the netflix deal.

Netflix has been known to do fake leaks of content they're making to build hype, they just never tell the content producer about it but most of the time they don't care because it doesn't hurt them. Nintendo just didn't like having control taken from them in any way.
