Retard, this depends on the Keyblade you're using. Each Keyblade has a Recoil stat which affects how quickly you can act out of Guard. High recoil stats are typically described in-game as "difficult to deflect" which means you can act out of it quickly. Some Keyblades have a Recoil of 1 which means you can never use Counterattack with it equipped.
