Imo ending G works better in terms of closure than ending H. You are gonna remain with a few questions, but at least you get the cycle breaking ending.
There are obviously some things you may get spoiled, but if you got to ending G and defeated the Old King at the Chaos Dungeon it wouldn't be such a big deal...

First things first, go to the dungeon and talk with kot there before you cycle
Ending G allows you to talk pretty in-depth about the existing lore, but you're still missing crucial information to fully understand everything. Do Chaos Dungeon now, you need to reach floor 180 or so for the lore dump (probably one of the most important ones) there before starting DLC3
