Have you tried simply closing out the game and reloading it? Dark souls would sometimes say something similar to this every now and then but I only had it actually be corrupted once.

how are corrupted save files even a problem in 2022?
software like databases are able to handle OS crashes, power outages, etc for years
hell just write your save format on top of SQLite
