Supposed to be rich and charismatic

>supposed to be rich and charismatic
>doesn't pay you or try to make you like him

new vegas devs were braindead and hated women

I assume pic not related because he paid all the time after job and he explained all his viewpoints and opinions.

He pays you more for a fucking snowglobe than he does for delivering the platinum chip.

he pays like shit and threatens you every time you talk to him

>brain dead
>hated women
pick one

He likes to talk about his opinions and such, but I agree about he doesn't pay too much. But at least loyal and in endgame he still wants you on his side.

>literally pays you with a penthouse suite
>doesn't pay you
Play the game

>4 mostly intact buildings surrounded by ruins
>claims he """saved""" Vegas

>he lets you station yourself in a run down hovel in a decaying building he owns
wowie what a payment

>every faction gives you a house
>house gives you a hotel room
thanks mr. house

That's shitty gamebryo engine's fault, Vegas was supposed to be much bigger

He offers a suspiciously good amount of caps for a suspiciously simple job, then when it turns out not to be simple and in fact you had to carry the most valuable artifact in the Mojave through a desert, with a target on your back from every faction since he can't keep a secret for shit he shrugs and says it's your fault for accepting the deal.

did you miss the part where he was left to seethe in a fucking jam jar for two hundred years?

The engine has nothing to do with that, look at the Mall in Fallout 3. Obsidian didn't use occlusion panels which help a lot with performances.

>mall
Rivet City is also split between cells and also has almost nothing in it

>use charisma to barter for a bigger reward for singlehandedly letting House take over New Vegas and the outlying areas
>succeed
>he offers 500 more bottlecaps

I never work with House for this reason alone

>waited until the last possible second and gave himself zero breathing room when it came to pre-war delivery of the chip
>can't reprogram his own robots with centuries of time on his hands
>bases literally all of his plans on somehow recovering a specific small piece of precious metal that has apparently been overlooked by scavengers for hundreds of years
>no plan B if that miracle doesn't happen
He would probably forget to put food on his colony ships.

It's almost like gambling isn't it?

I always figured that was dev oversight or imbalance. The whole game's economy is fucked anyway and there are tens of thousands of caps to be made in the casinos right next door.

no, he only pays for the delivery of the platinum chip
