a map should make you *feel* like your exploring it.
You forgot the 2020 one where it's the exact same as 2010 but it's a dirt road and with some linear dungeons containing generic loot scattered around it.
or the 2017 one which is just an elevation map with a thousand collectable tokens spread equidistantly
