Nero really came into his own in 5. Looks cool, much less of a fag, moveset more refined, all of the mechanics added on are stellar.
He's pretty fun to play. My only gripe is that the exceed mechanic is obnoxious, I wish it would've just given access to exceed-powered special moves rather than boosting all attacks
