This thread always goes the same way, people vastly underestimate the stupid levels of Godzilla.
Can your character control time? Doesn't matter, Godzilla still happens anyway. Send him to hell? He conquers it and walks out. Cut him in half? He regenerates from a single cell. Shoot him into space? Comes back with crystals and telekinesis. Bury him under ground? Dude swims through the mantle of the earth. Leave earth? Earth becomes him, so don't come back. Black hole? Flies out.
It's certainly possibly to flee Godzilla, or for him to be unable to kill a character, but it takes a minimum of total obliteration of the earth, total cessation of existence on a global scale, for you to be able to actually win.
