YTPs are the main reason I'm fond of this Robotnik. I don't even like Sonic

Same, I like sonic but never seen a single episode of the western cartoons

his voice is fucking magnificent, almost everything he says is gold.

Scatman feels more like Word of Warcraft to me

This is going to sound fucking autistic but bear with me. I pretty much connect vidya franchises with certain tv shows/movies if they have similar set pieces and I hope I'm not the only who does this.

For example, I played Rayman 3 for the first time back in 2011 and the beginning of the game with the magical forest reminded me of Ferngully. I never sat down and watched the whole movie but I remember the trailer youtube.com/watch?v=ccURwir7C_o for it on the Home Alone VHS tape I watched religiously as a kid and now I just associate Rayman with those two properties (especially the part at 1:24). I also associate Rayman with Futurama purely because Billy West's involvement with both of them. Basically, I can never watch/play one thing without being reminded of the other and honestly, it's not all that bad. It's actually pretty comforting in a weird way.

Not vidya related but I associate this one more with Ed, Edd n Eddy because of a certain Youtube Poop that I can no longer find.

"Home By The Sea" by Genesis makes me think of the inca gold ship in Illusion of Gaia. The lyrics match the implication that they died before they could escape the invaders, and Will met their ghosts without realizing what they were.
