I wouldn't be surprised if they made a sequel to it. A third one however...

I'm waiting for the standalone vr headset desu.

WTF bros how could someone iterate on their product?

Fake article btw

its real doe

What's so unusual about that?
There's been plenty of interviews where Nintendo or Sony state that they begin development on their next consoles immediately after the current ones release. Did you think they would wait five years then just magically shit something out with no R&D time?

So that's at least 2 million in the first year before it's even available to the rest of the world.

what is that owner estimation based on? usually it's stuff like review count and scraping public profiles but neither of them would work for the deck

if it's anywhere close to the truth then hats off to valve
I was expecting this to be extremely niche

do i get this
a ps5 if i can get it for msrp
a 3070 or 3070 for msrp
or just get a new prebuilt
my current builds fine gtx 1070 but. i wanna get a new cpu before the anti piracy backdoors come into effect

i'm buying a second one i know at least

then whats the point of paying 650 dollars for a mobile 1050 not even ti
my switch plays casual games fine and my ps4 and desktop pc plays them better
whats the point if theyre just gonna make a better one lol
guess i could scalp it tho

i had the exact same dilemma as you. i went with the deck because i figured I'm not really interested in gaming while sitting at my computer anymore, and I'm not really interested in playing Sony exclusive titles (which apparently have high chances of being ported to pc anyway)

>i wanna get a new cpu before the anti piracy backdoors come into effect
wat

i like sitting at my comp just not 24/7
also go to my grandmas every weekend to see family
so deck would be good for that
i have a ps4 and switch tho
i feel like a ps5 or 3070 would be enough of a upgrade to last me 10+ years cuz my ps4 is still fine ish and im on 2016 pc hardware
but the idea of the deck is so cool just shit battery life and shit specs
if it had 8 hours battery life and a 1070 teir specs with a 60 hz gsync screen with linux then ok
but idk
i have 600 dollars to drop that im owed so its already spent
pisse sme off i cant get a ps5 and even if i do upgrading storage is a bitch

Steam Deck 2 would be she I'll wait for Steam Deck 3 Pro

microsoft i s putting a chip in all cpus that is a backdoor to remote shut off your comp if they dont like what youre doing
also win 11 has mandatory microsoft accs
its orwellian as fuck its comig to cars too

oh right, yea fuck that shit
linux master race

linux is backdoored as much as win 10 my aunt works at redhat trust me id know lol
i just use locked down win 10 with the spying disabled
better than win 8 lol
i want the deck for linux tho windows is shit

o
well just killing myself ig
