Going behind enemy lines and jacking their vehicles

Are there any games which emulate this feel?

Just Cause

Why is it taking them so long? Isn't Russia like a military superpower and Ukraine is like a tiny poor demilitarized shithole?

>Ukranians get to play GTA Online in real life
It's not fair, bros.

they don't get respawns though

Battlefield 2, it was even more satisfying if you did that after blowing up their artillery

Does Far Cry allow you to do this?
Metal Gear Solid 5 let's you do this.

Russia steamrolled Ukraine in Crimea and assumed another operation would be that easy, but the Ukrainian military got a lot stronger. US and NATO intelligence also anticipated the invasion and helped Ukraine prepare

>US btfo twice once by chingchongs in funny hats, second time by sanddwellers with ak47s
>Russia btfo by ukranian tikthots
Is modern military in games complete bullshit? I thought they had cool laser guided missiles and spetnaz trained soldiers, and lethal spec ops forces that go in and out with just a team of 5 and take down the enemies main systems. Why aren't militiaries as good as they appear in games?

Europeans don’t blow each other up until it’s total war. If Ukraine attempts an offensive then yeah expect cities to get glassed

>HALO skydiving down onto the US carrier on Gulf of Oman as MEC specialist
>lay c4 all over the runway and go prone and hide
>blow up aircraft as they take off until the confused enemy team realizes what's up and hunts you down

They got a lot of weapons from NATO/US, which is why partly why the Ruskies even invaded. Ironically their impressive defense is exactly why they Russians won't give up until they're all dead. Ukraine should surrender but maybe they're hoping to rope NATO into fighting, which would be bad because that's literally WW3.

too much media has fried your brain

Russia spends all their money on the military but it's a pretty poor country so "all their money" isn't actually that much. Most of their equipment is 20, 30 or even 40 years old. I think they expected Ukraine to roll over and die which obviously is not what happened. Ukraine ha also been getting support from other countries while Russia's allies are turning their back since the invasion isn't going so well.

Ukraine has a better military now compared to 2014

They're also updated and fed latest intelligence by NATO

Then there's the Stingers, NLAWs and Javelins that were sent weeks prior to the invasion

In reality most Ukrainian tanks, jets, helicopters and armored vehicles have been reduced to dust since Day 1 but the Russians are also hilariously inept and lost far more equipment and personnel than the Ukrainians

Most world militaries that aren't active warzone 24/7 are just 18-25 kids who have been trained just enough to not shoot themselves while reloading a rifle. The guys you're thinking are special ops and are way outnumbered by barely trained grunts.

Reminder that Ukraine currently has a 3 to 1 KDR against Russia and their tanks have been completely destroyed

just cause series
battlefield series
MGS 5
mercenaries 1/2
star wars battlefront 1/2
men of war series
saboteur
ghost recon wildlands

it's pretty common actually

russia has a smaller military budget than italy

so now that Ukraine didn't roll over for the tiny invasion, is Putin about to send like an actual invasion force with way more aircraft and armor and stuff?

so sexy bros

but how? I thought these guys were like dangerous? is it just because of the nukes?

>supposed to be the second best military force on earth
>can't even take Kiev in a week
This must be embarrassing for the manlet

>driving military vehicles in an active warzone
I can't wait for them to catch bullets

>They're also updated and fed latest intelligence by NATO
So, Putin was right about them?
>WE WUZ NON-NATO N SHIEEET
Putin's the 'bad guy' here, huh? Nice 'non-NATO' country, nigga.

>but how?
communism fucks you up real good, for a real long time

but some people are into that

You overestimate what Russia actually has. They are historically one of the shittiest militaries in the world. All their greatest military victories involved defending against people attacking at the worst possible time, and losing 5 times the casualties they inflict as they burn own country to the ground.

Major militaries are a joke. Stop fearing superpowers.

I still can't think that they could actually be beaten by tiny little Ukraine, no matter how many stingers and javelins NATO gave them.

>Why is it taking them so long
Capturing strategic points with the least possible kills is what people does in war.
Carpet bombing everything to the ground is counterproductive, you would have the entire population waging guerrilla warfare against you as they don't have anything else to lose. And defending against asymetrical warfare is very expensive, remember Afghanistan.

It doesn't matter how much armor they have if they have to drive it all down shitty rural 2 lane roads. They can't do cross country because they'll get stuck in the mud.

bros... Press F

And there's bio labs all over their country right at Russia's door. How the fuck does anyone allow a hostile NATO country behind the death pandemic through gain of function research, to reside by their fucking door? You fucking retards support Ukraine, but Russia has every fucking right to glass the Ukraine niggers if they don't cooperate.

Beaten is a strong term. Most people expect Russia to "win" the war, but get fucked in a long term guerilla engagement. And thats the LAST thing you want next door to you. This shit could seriously lead to Ukrainians committing "terror" attacks against Russia directly in the decades to come.

You ever get the feeling that Russians don't care about the Ukraine and the Russian soldiers don't want to give their lives just to capture it and that this is just Putin's war and he's the only one that really cares?

The Just Cause 3 game looks fun.

Putin:I'm going to invade you and steal Crimea
Ukraine: Can we get some some protection? Let's look into joining an alliance
Putin:Ukraine is thinking about joining NATO. I'm going to invade even harder now
*Gets wrecked on second invasion*

Clarify: the US used CHINA for gain of function research and then either China or the USA released the shit, killing millions. Now the same pozzed NATO allies have all their bad shit Bio labs near Russia... AND THATS OK BECAUSE RUSSIA BAD MAN! Orange man bad? Russia white man bad! ME listen news!

Let me spin that around for you. Why do you think russia wants to invade Ukraine and take it over now when you could have in 2014? What has changed since then? Has Ukraine been getting any recent support since 2014? Your answer lies in those questions

Because it's not full mobilization. Russia is basically sending small strike forces. If they really meant on taking Ukraine, they need far more soldiers than what they're currently sending there. Of course, all these news are coming from the west, so we have no idea how good/bad the war is going.

Qucks have entered the chat

>Rona exists
>3 years later
>Oh shit, it's already dying down, quick, what do we do now to keep people oppressed?!
>Hmmmmm

Why not nuke Kiev?
Steal a tactic from America in WW2

Not really. Putin is very popular with Russian citizens. They are probably mostly supportive of this invasion.

Ok but guys the big question is: how does this benefit Israel?
