where did you find it?
I have been using the curved greatswords for a long time now since I coudn't find any colossal greatswords

It's on a caravan in the red area. I got teleported there from the swamp are by some trap.

Oh yeah I've entered it briefly, gonna look for that that caravan then, thanks bud.

so im a complete newfag to souls games and have no idea what the fuck im doing, how am I supposed to build a character in this game? So far i've just been slapping on strength and vitality levels (or whatever it's called for more HP) because all these fucking swords have retardedly high strength reqs and I don't really do anything other than attack and roll. I'm getting to the point now though where a single level requires like 7k souls but I still need 10 more levels to use this axe, I just wanted to use the cool axe I got from that weirdo with the dragon fetish

If you two hand weapons your current STR gets multiplied by 1.5

i was unaware of this thanks user

Why is the enemy T-posing in the back?

Put points in endurance as well. My logic usually is that endurance should be at 75% of vitality (or more).

Being able to dodge out and not get hit at all is so much better than getting hit but having a bit more hp.

>"come at me bro" pose is now t-posing

Find Donovan and slay him

makes sense I don't think i've levled up endurance yet but lately i've been running out of stamina so maybe ill allocate half my levels to that for a bit

Really? I got some shitty item from that caravan, def not that sword

As the other user said you're basically not intended to use the big weapons one handed, at least not until the mid-late game (and even then it's more economic to use them two handed). So you basically build to the minimum requirements of being able to swing it two handed and then focus on leveling other stats so you can get supporting spells and more HP etc. The general idea of "builds" in these games is to level everything to the bare minimum req to use the stuff you want to use, and then when you have souls to spare to start pumping up your main stats to get the max damage (or max spell slots, max HP, etc) possible for your loadout. Don't worry about ruining your first character though, no one gets their first build right, especially playing during release before all the inevitable patches.

t. guy who hasn't even played elden ring

Did you also found Gutts?

has anyone found a cool katana?
I only found the moonveil and i know about the one that has that electrisity and frost weapon art but it doesnt look fun enough, i want to know now because maybe ill end up wasting every resource and respec for the moonveil

Big weapon + big shield is actually pretty fun in ER with the barricade shield buff and guard counters. I'm doing a fat fuck build, it actually feels like a viable playstyle in this game instead of a death sentence like 3

where's the thing that raises stats but increases damage recieved?

Evergaol in south Limgrave, there's another one for magic stats but I forget where I got it

Meteoric Ore Blade Katana

Is it any good and where is it
also what are the reqs

I didn't really see any skills that allowed you to increase the damage of your weapon by significant amounts except maybe str? but that makes sense ty user I've just been tossing the runes around willy nilly because I don't want to lose them (oddly enough I've only ever lost my souls once so far)

i have yet to find a katana but I looked them up and a lot of them looks pretty cool

i have the map for south, but where exactly
How can i find it

It has gravity powers, it's somewhere on Caelid
