90% of the map is bloated useless empty space. Finding yet another Korok shrine makes me want to kms for paying launch price. Meanwhile the Godrick dungeon plays like a linear ass DS3 style corridor just with the illusion of multiple paths. Incredible how there is zero reason to explore the rooftops despite being able to jump around there because all you find is crap and you just get funneled to the same route anyway.

There are two paths to the end of Godrick's boss gate though. And at least 2 that leads to each of those. Then there's the option to circle around the castle too.

It doesn't feel that big, desu. You can ride across the map quite easily if you follow the roads. But, it starts to feel fucking huge when you explore and discover all the little dungeons and underground stuff. Some towers feel massive, though. Climbing up the scaffolding outside of a tower that you enter from the top to descend, and you see across most of the map. It's nice, honestly a lot nicer than I expected because I hate open world stuff.
