Easier? It's the hardest by far because From thought every body loved the bullshit wombo combo enemies from BB. Gone are the slow tactical enemies from DaS1.

Sekiro >= Elden Ring > DS2 > DS3 > DS1

I played through Dark Souls to “prepare” for Elden Ring. Even though I haven’t beaten a Dark Souls game since like 2016, I was still able to fairly easily beat DS1. Elden Ring is much harder.

Sekiro is arguably easier than ER once you got the rhythm of parrying. Meanwhile ER makes you feel underleveled as fuck with everything killing you in 3 hits.

I only put Sekiro higher because I still remember how hard did the headless ape destroy my asshole.

It's only difficult when you get bullshit enemies who spam 1000000000000 moves at you with no opening and your only option is to brutalize them with overwhelming force.

That said, DaS and DS2 were far easier to cheese.

As much as I love BB, I seriously hate how it completely ruined the series. It went from a slow and methodical dungeon crawler to le epic 2fast4u speedstratz brawler. It’s a shame too that it came out at the same time as DS2, so those dumb fucks at From probably thought the reason it was received better was the fast combat, and not the fact DS2 was just a hollow pile of garbage.

I've just been doing the optional bosses in limgrave for 5 hours trying to look for a better weapon than the battleaxe. It's been piss easy so far. I'm guessing a pleb filter will come up at some point though.

It's easier. Assuming you follow the roughly intended path you shouldn't have any problems as long as you aren't a sitter. In terms of challenge runs it's too soon to tell but I'd wager it'll end up on the easier end because it'll be harder to be locked out of good weapons.

why can i beat sekiro with no issues and have a lot of fun while playing it and in this game i can't even kill a guy in armor

It's second to Sekiro in difficulty but that also depends on who you ask. Sure they gave you options in this game on how to deal with it, but because they gave you that option means they are allowed to be extra dickish to compensate.

To be honest I feel only low damage runs are the only ones that are ever actually challenging

This type of design warrants an action game character like Dante/Ryu Hayabusa. You might as well fucking play minesweeper if you like this type of combat.

user, no boss in DaS1 is as hard as Margit. You have to remember that most bosses in DaS1 are just basic push over enemies in ER, shit like Asylum demon, taurus demon ,gaping dragon, etc.

the bosses are designed assuming youre a baby going in with 2 phantoms. doing them alone is thus a pain in the ass as the bosses simply do not stop spazzing at the one guy with 15hit combos

Dsrk souls 1 is the easiest of the bunch

I honestly find it extremely ironic that most people have forgotten why DeS and DaS1 was so good during the time they came out. It wasn't because of just how the game was punishing or hard, it was because unlike most popular action games at the time, the games were about stamina management, pacing your attacks, and slowly dueling the enemy which is why taking on more than 2 enemies was a death sentence.
Now From has gotten the wrong idea and throws waves of gank squads at you wile everyone does anime back flips and infinite combos. What the fuck man.

It's a lot harder but it does get easier once you get your grounding

Or you could just explore the open world like a normal person, get better gear and level up so you can handle him. Plenty killed him solo

shields are worthless in elden ring, there's only 2 play styles available now. 2 handed dodging monkey or cheese with magic

nigga the stamina regen is so fast in this game it isn't even an issue

Its way fucking harder than dark souls imo. Just beat Rennalla, this shit is insane. Godrick and her are harder than anything in dark souls easily.

I use my shield all day and it beats ass. I'm blszing through this game with the different heater shields.

Dark Souls 1 is easy compared to every other entry in the series.
