It's clear this won't turn me into a bodybuilder
So what's the point then? Who's this for?
Ring Fit
People who want to keep in general good shape. It does give you couch potato a good workout if you're consistent with it. Same with Fitness Boxing.
Also bodybuilding requires diet discipline on top of general fitness discipline
easy excuse for female streamers to moan on the mic and farm beta bucks.
Exercise user. It's all it is for along with being fun
It may not turn you into a bodybuilder but it will keep you in a decent shape and work your muscles.
For people that want light resistance training and simple cardio while playing a video game. It's for casuals, mother's to play with their children. Also to try and recapture some of the success of Wii Fit. I knew a lot of women back in the day who played it a lot
Moms. My mom used to play Wii Fit every day, now she uses Ring Fit.
>inb4 hornyposters
fuck off
You called?
I'mma fuck your mom off.
It's gamification of exercise so you're not utterly fucking bored while exercising. I tried running for like 2-3 months and gave up since it was so fucking boring just jogging 6 days a week for 30-60 minutes a day.
It's unironically one of the best RPGs I've played. Fun story, excellent OST, good customization, and interesting gameplay. It also has a new game plus, and a new game plus...plus to incentivize long term play.
I've been playing consistently every day since the beginning of 2021 and my results are that my stamina is a lot higher and I can do more physically strenuous work and I feel a little taller but I might just be a tad retarded.
i bet you wont last 30 minutes playing ringfit.
yeah, its light cardio work but its more exercise you will ever do.
now this is the part where you pretend you actually do exercise.
Moms who got wiifit when their kids were in middle/high school and had a wii, and are now emptynesting and got a switch for animal crossing.
Source: My mom has played WiiFit every single day since she got it and got RingFit because the NYT had an article about it.
> I got it too and it's actually not that bad, not great but certainly nice for office wagies who sit all day
i tried couch to 5k and couldn't get past the third week
dude, i played 5 hours straight on the highest difficulty and was barely sweating by the end of it.
Me. I blew my hips out playing sports when I was younger so weight lifting is literally impossible now. Its the only way to stay in shape
To insire the kind of weight loss that comes from walking to something besides the friedge or to the door for food deliiveries
If you hit a wall, repeat the last week. Stamina and muscle gain is different for everyone.
this and thrill of the fight is how I get my cardio in
I have a squat rack for weight training
best of both worlds
I gym in the morning then use this at night for cardio about 30 mins. It's very helpful
would it be gay to play this if i want to get into better shape? most of my exercise already comes from cardio
It's light resistance training and cardio gamified
All the stuff in there is normal bodyweight exercises with very mild resistance added from the band
Compared to shit like a fucking peloton or a gym membership you don't use or a subscription app you forget about, it's a neat way to stay active
It's a tired answer but it's the truth
> Caring what stupid people think about you is like caring what the oblivion NPCs think of you jumping everywhere
Health matters. Drink more water, less soda, make your own meals and avoid snacking instead of having lunch and dinner, and go out for an evening walk, even if it's just around the block.
>Drink more water, less soda, make your own meals
I haven't had soda since December, so at least I have that going for me
Unironically it's literally baby tier compared to other fitness games.
If Wii Fit was Dark Souls, then RFA is Kirbby.
But considering Dark Souls can be kinda boring, the best alternative would be either Beat Saber or Fitness Boxing.
MORE LIKE ELDEN RING FIT 3HEAD
It's almost like there are levels of fitness between couch potato and bodybuilder or something.
Fitness is so boring. Just because I've done something 100 times doesn't mean I wanna do it again.
>you are either a couch potato or a bodybuilder, there is nothing else
