>entire library has zero good games
Entire library has zero good games
Honestly outside of GTA and the two MGS games, the PSP's library was pretty lacklustre. The thing really shined in its emulation capabilities when jailbreaked.
It really doesn't it can't even play NES games perfectly, much less SNES games.
WipeOut Pure
LUCT
OutRun 2
Kenka Bancho
PataPon
Silent Hill Origins (Fuck ports)
Tekken
Rondo of Blood
..this is just off the top of my head, I don't wanna dig out the PSP at the moment to remeber all I have installed.
than just use it to play PSX games??
>entire library has zero good games
>expect any indie indie which is already on pc
>Danganronpa trilogy
>Zero Escape trilogy
>Steins;Gate
Literally has all my favourite games
>has 20 times more games than PS5
true, but i did play the shit out of this game by myself all the time. there was one time a friend from school came over and we played together.
Don't forget Ridge Racer(s) 2, the peak of the series in some ways.
The two God of War games, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, got excellent PS3 ports. Regarding Silent Hill Origins, I don't like the PS2 version. It was way too fuckin dark and the movement felt jerky and weird. I can only assume it was done with the PSP nub in mind.
PS3 sequel sold 100% on being "a game" for PS3 at launch and booba.
this thing was so cool. it deserved to have a better library. i wish it just stayed around for another 20 years so it could pick up some good games. i miss true handhelds like the PSP.
I've never dug deep into RIIIIDGE RACERRRR but /vr/ creams their jeans over R4 so I popped an EBOOT on not too long ago. I'll try the actual PSP title as well, why not. And yeah, the Port isn't great - yet SH:O is still the last semi decent Silent Hill, and should be remembered as such. (I.. guess Shattered Memories was ok, into retrospect)
20 times zero equals zero
I can still hear the fucking CASIO keyboard midi town theme. It's fucking bad but it's still stuck in my head. Dear lord was CFW an upgrade for those load times though, talking 25s down to 3s.
>Persona 1,2,& 3
>Prinny
>Initial D
>Metal Slug XX
Also Capcom's weird phase of porting and remaking most their library unto it, seriously I don't think power stone collection is on anything else other than the PSP. Monster Hunter on PSP was big too, but I missed out on the adhoc grouping up and never got around to trying them in depth.
R4 is the peak of the series in SOUL, for sure. You can't beat that vibe. But content wise, Ridge Racers 2 has all the R4 tracks and tracks from other games with a new (for the time) driving system. Its basically the whole series in one game.
>>Zero Escape trilogy
Literally none on the psp
It was the only place to play a decent portable take on Burnout and THPS, and that was enough for me.
fffuuuuck yeah I forgot I had Power Stone Collection on there. Now THAT is worth owning a PSP for.
It has tons of good games and can even play PSX games.
I made tons of money as a middle schooler downloading and selling ISO files to bunch of my schoolmates.
When I had one back in the day I played the fuck out of Maverick hunter X and spent literal dozens of hours making stages in Megaman Powered Up. I also had a friend who was WAAAYYY into FF Dissidia and always destroyed me in our college classes during break.
I got one of those chinkhelds and have been discovering a bunch of games I missed back then. DBZ Shin Budokai is fucking sick and so is Tenkaichi Tag Team. The Ghost Rider game is surprisingly fun, and Ratchet and Clank, even though its kinda shitty compared to the PS2 ones, is also surprisingly good at the same time.
It had the Final Fantasy Dissidia games so you're objectively wrong. (why the fuck won't SE remaster those with online instead of giving us that shit ass Dissidia NT?)
holy shit, i had no idea there was a sequel. going to check it out. no matter how terrible.

It aint good lmao it's really launch PS3 trash. Days of the Blade tier.
it was the first to do portable lego star wars right aside from the cantina being deserted
