or you can like parry, or jump backwards, or counter or like run away man

>He doesn’t sidestep.

>all enemies have massive hitboxes with multiple layers of shockwaves so jumping does nothing

Never played any game like this before, is the dodge dodge dodge dodge meme real

what you know about rolling down in the deep

well yea kinda. you just avoid attacks most of the time and try to hit sometimes

Sounds like you're just bad.

The first zone and the castle were great, but who the fuck thought a fog zone was a good idea. It fucking suck, lack verticality and make exploration boring
Where do I go from here? Just follow the light to the north?

Only If you chose to play this way.

I'm going to be honest, I'm having issues adapting to some of the controls and mechanics. I want to explore and get some more equipment (wretch) and having fun with the game, but it definingly has a different feel to DS. I'm just too horrible to play, but hanging in there. Has anyone found a staff so I can start my Glintstone magicks? Also, is there a skeleton summon? I want to simulate a necromancer. And why is the summons blacked out all the time?

>massive hitboxes
>multiple layers of shockwaves
post footage of just one example

I dont know how good it is because Im not a magic fag but I found a meteorite staff in ruins in the swamp, called like sages street or something

You pretty much have to roll because any time you block a hit it eats like 80% of your stamina lol.

>or like run away man
>just skip the content bro!

Nice game design.

i dont get it

There is a staff in the ruins at the middle of the southern island.

>Dark Souls 3 is the fucking worst combat in their games
>Copy it, now with more grind

FromSoft fucked it up so hard it's hilarious.

They deserve mixed. If you're gonna make all the enemies as agressive as Sekiro but not buff your base systems as well it's fucked. The only way to advance at a FUN pace is to grind and level up to at least deal some DECENT damage and not die in the process.

Parry, jump away, roll, guard, guard counter, run, strafe.

>roll
>punish
>roll
>punish
>roll
>punish
And so on. It's the laziest form of boss design and the game's littered with them.

nah game is universally acclaimed with 10s, ACG, skillup, IGN, yongyee, everyone is on the same page.

elden ring is the best game of the last 10 yeras flat out.

Yes. Except it's roll roll roll not dodge dodge dodge

Who, who, and who? How does their opionion matter?
