Mindlessly mash R1 with absolutely no risk to yourself

Mindlessly cast with absolutely no risk to yourself

Carefully calculate the boss patterns and have an extremely small window to attack. 1 nanosecond to slow and you lose half your health while you finish your attack animation.
Just a reminder that if you're playing Elden Ring with anything other than a STR build then you're being carried.
DEX
why are STR fags always like this? are there any STRfags that arent total faggots?
Insecurity, hence the need for big phalic weapon.
Designing a non retarded build is also a skill
I'm using a quality bulud to try out all the weapons.

also flails are the shit
yeah flails and hammers rock
Carried
Yes, carried by my own basic intelligence. It must be tough to go through life without any, but I commend you for finding workarounds
nobody is impressed

Caaaaaarrrrrriieeeeeeed
Can someone explain the mindset of using objectively suboptimal options and being smug about it?
I see this with Fire Emblem people sometimes too, and fighting game fags
>investing into offensive stats ever
>not putting all points into defensive stats, defensive spells
The grug fears the TANK.
I'm assuming you're either an mmofag or a mobafag, but to answer your question, one-tricking is a part of community culture in these genres.
Doing things "your way" and succeeding is an essential part of the appeal of these genres. Playing meta, twinking, min-maxing, and grinding for BIS is more of a last resort.
Traditionally there's really only been one way to solve problems in most games. In an action game like Elden Ring you would either git gud at its combat or you failed. The big games these days generally try to have more than one way to play successfully, but the action game players are still stuck with the mindset that you're supposed to play the specific way that they were required to in the past, thus anyone who finds more optimal solutions is "cheating"
Looks like the stick man is sucking a fat guy's dick
>thoughtlessly jump r2 with strength weapon
Easy mode
I mostly play S/RPGs and building games.
Never played a MOBA but when it comes to MMOs I get playing however you want, because MMOs aren't difficult and part of the appeal of the game, at least for me, is just sort of doing stuff in the world. I'm not a strenuous minmaxer by any means so doing things The Hard Way and pretending you're the only one who "really beat the game" etc. just strikes me as the opposite kind of thing.
That makes sense.
Me. I play STR because it's fun. Slow weapon < fast weapon sure, but it's very satisfying landing telegraphed hits by using positioning and prediction to outplay your opponent. Vordt's Hammer was my favorite PVP weapon in DS3. Offhand crossbow to punish healing and running felt phenomenal.
some games I know let Strength fighters pierce through defenses
plus, if your strength is high enough, the defense stats can barely keep up with the damage, and you'll shave off more chunks until you get to the gooey center
