What's the deal with PVP?
I've only found the items to put down your summon sign but not the one for invasions, is that later in the game or something? I haven't even been invaded once, nor been called to help someone out who's been invaded and I got the blue ring thing.

For my sorcerer, the giants by Stormveil were a great farm. Easy 5-6k runes every time, and each kill replenishes your flasks.

Bros I was loathing the game the first ~7 hours but now it's starting to be actually fun

ER is so much fun bros.... for the first few hours i felt like open world is garbage and disliked it but after another few hours of riding around the map, doing dungeons and killing bosses i started liking it a lot
i love new mechanics, variety of spells and shit, playing it gives me such joy i didnt feel in years

also i like enemies and overall world building a lot

Kill 1 of the boat skellingtons, dude at the round table will direct you to a location, it ports you to a very lategame zone with a bunch of spread out goblin shitters with bigger health pools + damage, but they drop over 1k runes a pop and they are mostly spread out.

Also after the first big castle area along the right side of the lake there's a Grace near a bunch of nights + blue ghost fuckers fighting, you can trigger more blue ghosts and a big blue troll, let them duke it out and restart to afk farm while shitposting.

You might want the same technique on two different weapons, for example I walk around with a large and small weapon both ready on my main hand

What about your ashes of war? They change the scaling for weapons you know, some give you STR scaling

Feel free to level anything to +6, since you get infinite 1 and 2 shards after you clear a cave pretty early on in the Academy lake area.

Honestly I weirdly enjoyed the crazy watchdog fight, that motherfucker's was goofy and spooky at the same time. Not that difficult, but I enjoyed how the initial telegraphs were really slow but the actual 'swings' themselves were crazy fast. So spooky. Played for about 10h, only just defeated Margit, mostly doing sidestuff and exploring

Most enemies have no recourse against jump attack spam. Most even get insta-stance broken if you hit them squarely in the head

Best spot I found early game is this bear.
Drops 1100 runes.
He's close to a bonfire or whatever it's called.
He's very easy to kill with a ranged weapon.

if you find a weapon without great scaling its ok because you can change it and make scaling better if you want, just go to blacksmith

here is merchant that sells Zweihander, its got HUGE fucking base damage with D str and dex scaling but as i said you can make it B STR scaling if you want

I did not take Godricks rune to the tower and instead popped it, but does it really matter? I feel like popping it and getting a few levels is better than using it at the tower, then requiring a normal rune only to get temporary boost.

I got cheeky and went east instead of north at the start. Cheese slipped down some rocks to not die from a big fall. Saw some bros having a bonfire and thought they were gonna dab with me or something. Got one tapped by a Skyrim dragon instead.

NTA, but let phrase it if I understand it correctly, normally you can only equip one ash of war on one weapon, but with duplication you can equip one ash of war on two weapon, is that correct?

Not the starter area lake, after Godrick when you get to the absolutely gigantic lake with a huge Academy in the center. There's 2 crystal caves in the area, 1 of them has an easy boss that drops an item that you can deliver to the husk in the roundtable to buy smithing shard 1 and 2's infinitely.

What's better for a dex build? Int or faith? I'm dual wielding katanas but I wanna try somd magic shit.

Go to the island at the bottom of the map. A merchant there sells the Zweihander and the Claymore is in a chest.

There's a spell that lets you enchant your RH weapon with (glintstone) magic, is there an option to get something like a zweihander and have it scale to INT? I'm trying to do a big 2H weapon sorcery build.

No starting class matters unless you're rushing to Margit, you're supposed to explore around and do a bunch of mini dungeons, by the time you finish that you should have an extra 20 levels and various weapons/shields to tweak whatever build you want.

I really liked the skeleton guy on the boat boss fight.
I tried to fight the Castle Morne boss but he kicked my butt in 2 seconds so I will come back to him. Its weird because Castle Morne was pretty easy and straight forward but the boss is the complete opposite. Maybe I am just not paying enough attention to his attack pattern?

So if he kills me in two hits does that mean my stats are shit? I really feel like I should reroll

No covenants just factions. The permanent invasion item is later in the game unless you lucked into the early game quest method which 99% of people won't. Most are just playing through the game now anyway.
