Nintendo likes its fans that aren't fickle little babies. Competitive Smash is a drop in the bucket compared to every idiot who can't do a fireball that bought it because it's the new game where you can fight as Pikachu. You have no power compared to that. And just like that, Evo was saved. The only two things it really needed was to get rid of it's boy-hungry pedophile president and to send the disgusting Smash Stinkies somewhere else. Preferably to a completely different hobby well away from the FGC, but getting the fuck out of Evo is a nice start.

Whether or not you consider Smash Melee/Ult a fighting game, you have to admit this is a giant fucking L to EVO. Not sure if this is because of Sony buying EVO, or Nintendo just saying no, Smash is by far the most viewed and entered event at EVO. Whoever made this call, you just fucked up (and if it was Nintendo, why do you hate your playerbase?)
