There is so much dispute on Any Forums of what makes a fighting game good or bad.
Based on a purely competitive perspective, in your opinion what is the best fighting game out there.
I'm talking about tournament gameplay, not low or mid level or even high level.
What fighting game has the most depth, and array of offensive, defensive and neutral options that make it the absolute best for competitive play?

Tricky question there my man. Imo that game would be XRD in the sense that is more balanced than, say, +R while allowing other characters other than Elphelt, Ky and Johnny to shine. Also it offers many defensive options that were shafted in Strive for some reason and that helped make that game an ungafest

Probably Tekken 6. DoA5 has a decent pace to it, but there's relatively little variation within a character's moveset.

Really, if Tekken 7 toned down the combos and buffed the pure deflects a tad, they'd have little to worry about. Ideally, they'd get rid of spectator shit like rage moves.

Standing parries, like the one Xiaoyu has.
