i have a tiger tank hatch
my grandpa used it as an anvil lol

For real?

yeah, sicilian btw, when the allies invaded the germans retreated at the speed of light and left a shit ton of gear, the villagers basically found an abandoned tank and dismantled it for their various personal needs

i think it's the one on the center right? i haven't actually seen it in a few years
i don't even know what it is frankly, a side hatch? escape hatch? whatever, my grandpa used it to craft wine barrels and shit, so it's probably pretty worn and ruined

neat. this is the tank in question btw, near mount etna
it's crazy how ww2 knuckleheads have documented pretty much every tank ever produced

>not selling it to some wehraboo on ebay

hey it's a family heirloom
and my father still uses it as an anvil occasionally

>using an antique piece of militaria as coveted as Wehrmacht stuff as an anvil instead of selling it and buy 100 anvils
Your father is weird

i don't think he realizes that it might be worth something lol
