it's an interesting piece of hardware, to be sure.

You can tell Sony had absolutely no plan for it from right off the bat, though. It was a panicked move, designed in a rush, for no audience.
It found one, but only long after it died.
I own one and I play it a *lot*, today, in the year 2022, when every game is available for free and every emulator under the sun can run on it, but back when it was actually on the market, it had, like, three games, and all of them had better versions on other systems.

You know what my most played games were on this thing back in 2013? Final Fantasy 10 and Dragon's Crown.

In 2022 it's Patapon and Lumines Electronic Symphony.
It's defining feature is being the best way to play PSP games. That's it.
