Do you own any mini consoles?
Which ones?
Why?

When the NES Mini came out I snagged one for myself and my nephew since they were the "hot thing."

I was best man for my friend's wedding that year and his groomsmen gift was the SNES mini to me so they're both sitting in a box in the basement lol.

Not that I don't have every damn ROM from Atari through N64 but the kitsch factor is there.

>groomsmen gift
First time hearing thats a thing

I bought all my groomsmen Leatherman

It's customary in the US to give a gift to your groomsmen and a nicer one to your best man since they have to shell out for the tuxedo/suit rentals and usually treat you to your bachelor party etc. The planning for all that is done by the best man. My bro gave me a really nice leather laptop bag for work/travel when I did it for him.

So the other groomsmen got the NES Classic, and I got the "nicer" more expensive SNES. Funny enough I would have wanted the NES more since I never owned the SNES in childhood.

>I never owned the SNES in childhood
Well it's the better system and you can hack it and put all the NES roms on it anyways

snes classic because it's a good snes emulator
ps classic because it's a great emulator to hack

So yep that's why I kept it. I have all those ROMs and I'd love to put all them on there. They're still sealed in the box. I kinda wish they included more by default but it's a non issue. I've actually been replaying Legacy of the Wizard NES recently bc I freaking love that game.

nope
Too expensive where I live since there wasn't an official release and it's all resellers.

I hope he punched you for getting him some useless toy that can be emulated on a phone instead of something useful for a house

wat

phoneggers are the bane of my existence

SNES mini.
I was envious of the SNES classic controllers that JP and EU Club Nintendo had, and really wanted Star Fox 2.
SMRPG is the only other standout I had not bought on VC.
Still rewind is great for casuals like me, and unlike NSO, the service won't end on me.
Those classic controllers are great for GBA, SNES, and other VC titles on Wii U. Also NES remix.

They work on WiiU??

I own both the NES and SNES.
Cute little things but worthless if you emulate on PC and have original hardware.

They're ordinary classic controllers, plug 'em into a Wiimote, and as long as you don't need analog sticks, you're playing with SUPER power.

jesus fuck

Fuck you

hope you are asian or a manlet, that looks terrible.

So, uhm, where do you keep your dilators and hormones at, sister?

I got the nes and snes mini, never opened them up. I just think they look neat but if I want to play roms I can just do that on pc

The groom gave the groomsMEN that gift tard.

The PSX mini and the SNES mini, both heavily modded

NES and SNES, but I regret both, since they're just a novelty, and outside of the sfrom tool by Dark Akuma to help with native Canoe emulation, the entire hacking community turned into "You want to play these SNES games natively? Just install retroarch LOL" and "OMG I found out how to play Doom 2 and half of the tomb raider 1 demo on the SNESC!"
These faggots could have just gotten an emulation box like the Pi for this shit, and just improved the novelty item to do what it was made to do. So yes, I regret both purchases.

>Canoe emulator
>Good
Yes, it sure is excellent at playing the 21 games that are loaded onto it, barring Yoshi Island and the SMRPG flashes, the latter due to anti seizure horseshit. The Canoe emulator is fucking ass and trying to play DKC1-3 or Megaman X2 or 500 different, memorable SNES games out of the box will give you plenty of trouble. Nintendo absolutely phoned in that shit, like they fucking always do.
