It is not ethical to work for Amazon unless you deliberately mean to sabotage them and cost them as much money as you can without getting footed the bill.

Well that and Amazon punishes you for being away from your station, like let's ay you have to piss, you're working as a picker so you're probably apart of a line where you have to put shit in the totes as fast as you can and put them on the line behind you to go to shipping, if you leave to go piss that means in the time it takes for you to walk all the way to the bathroom, use the bathroom, come back and resume picking that's items not going in the tote, meaning items not going into the shipping line, meaning you're costing amazon money and they don't like that so they'll either look for a way to fire you or don't need one because most of the places they operate in are in at will employment states like Texas so if you do this too many times a shift they will get rid of you.

It's not just amazon, any big brand store that has distribution centers will do this because their time is money it sucks but what can you do other than not work at warehouses, but if you're a wasteoid with no marketable skills or a desperate who needs a livelyhood you don't really have a choice and man oh man do they love to tell you how it will follow the rest of your job search career it's effectively the kinda of "Be a real shame if something were to happen wouldn't it?" shit the mob would do and it's all totally legal because you signed a form saying they can do this to you before you were given employment.
