>no pixel remaster
Is it because it's the hardest Final Fantasy?
No pixel remaster
Shining force is really the only good Tactic RPG
Do you really want Square Enix to fuck this up?
Why do people want bad companies to remaster good games? War of the Lions was already a really mixed bag.
it's coming soon. square kino is on a fucking roll with their 2DHD style.
i hated how grinding at all was punished making random battles harder than the main game
I just want a proper PC port of the PSP version with the spell casting slowdown fixed.
Because people are sheep. They don't ask for remakes of games that had potential but need improvements. They just want a remake of the game they already love.
That said, FFTactics had tons of problems and was already dated when it first came out. So it's one game that could use a remake. But it already got one with War of the Lions...and didn't fix the problems. So it shouldn't get a second one.
>They don't ask for remakes of games that had potential but need improvements
I'd like to point you in the direction of both the Crash and Spyro communities.
Also everyone and their mom clamoring for a Chrono Trigger remake. When Chrono Cross is the biggest example of a game that needs a remake. And Chrono Trigger is the biggest example of a game that could only be ruined by a remake.
i dont trust modern companies to make good games. they will always inject ESG bullshit into every game they make now a days so their parent company can get another discount from the world bank.
An HD-2D remake is coming it was leaked a while ago
it's not as good as you remember.
bro my point is that everyone wants Enter the Dragonfly and Wrath of Cortex to get remade without universal being fucking retarded. Wrath of Cortex barely scraping ahead by getting worked on by the fucking psychopaths at Traveler's Tales.
As long as they don't bring in the retarded judge mechanic im fine.
Depending on who does it, yes. Within the same company, the Dragon Quest remakes don't pull that junk. They remain faithful to the original and improve some things. Final Fantasy however rarely has anyone from the original team working on the remake. It's handed down to some secondary group in Square, if not outsourced entirely. So it's not a big shock when the remake comes off as lacking polish or care. It's not even them trying to go woke. Just them trying to rush through a job they don't want to do.
FFVII Remake of course being an exception that does fit what you're talking about. But that was a total corporate game to begin with.
A CT remake that implement the obviously unfinished battle tech positional effects and that rebalanced encounters and difficulty would be awesome. Also, leave out all Kato's added trash to try to tie it to CC more.
it's better
CC already ties to CT just fine. The added trash ending to CT DS wasn't done by Kato. It was done by the nobody secondary team that did the remake. Chrono Cross already had like 75 connections to Trigger, including the main plot being about stopping Lavos from escaping to another dimension and cleaning up a bunch of time paradoxes.
Don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that Cross already is heavily tied to Trigger. Well, actually I do. Because the story is told in a very disjointed way and has a lackluster translation. All the more reason Cross needs the remake and not Trigger.
Funny that you talk about translations while failing to read the English there. I wasn't talking about CC having connections to CT, I was talking about the added shit in rereleases of CT laying groundwork for CC. And yes, that was written by Kato.
>Funny that you talk about translations while failing to read the English there.
>I was talking about the added shit in rereleases of CT laying groundwork for CC.
Funny you call me out for not reading when I specifically mentioned that very thing in my previous post...
>The added trash ending to CT DS wasn't done by Kato. It was done by the nobody secondary team that did the remake.
You even referenced this. Then you try and ignore it to claim I'm not reading? Hilarious.
