Depends, how many species you have to let them genocide until they arrive to the umgah homeworlds? i think the safest choice woud be for the kzer-za to encase them into a slave shield when everything is said and done. Kinda like what the spathi did.

How far along are they actually? They're working with the UQM source engine right? I know much of what's being publicly shown right now is very basic engine stuff to get the super melee working in an updated and satisfying way. It still feels way too early for anything to be set in stone yet.

You have to loose quite a few actually. Good riddance to the VUX and the Druuge, but the Spathi and Zoq-Fot-Pik are a high price to pay.

Druuge, Mycon, VUX, Orz, Spathi, Zoq-Fot-Pik, Umgah. So really the only loss is Zoq-Fot-Pik and maybe Spathi. The rest of them dying is either neutral or actively a good thing for the galaxy.
