Holy fuck. Sonic games almost never show gameplay this fucking early in the year, somehow this is a problem now? Fuck off. In fact, a shit ton of games barely show anything this far out. Somehow when it’s Sonic it’s an issue now. The fact that Sonic is always held to these ridiculously high standards that no other franchise is, is a testament to its greatness and how much seethe it causes.

They're probably waiting for the new movie to release before bothering to market Frontiers. Although they honestly should have at least had some kind of vertical slice to show off at the game awards last year considering how long this shit has apparently been in development. Makes you wonder how much of mess this game currently is if they had to delay its release an entire year for quality reasons and they're still squeamish about showing anyone at least thirty seconds of gameplay.

Then again Frontiers is the result of the main guy behind Lost World and Forces trying to make an open world game so of course it was going to end up a dumpster fire.

Origins is supposed to release before the second movie, so it being less than 2 months away at most with 0 footage is very worrying. It's genesis games. In widescreen. 3/4 of them are already good because of previous ports. Sega how do you fuck this up.
The state of this franchise is at the point where we can't even rest assured a collection of PORTS isn't going through development hell.
