The way hoyo does difficulty is fucking retarded, either the game is braindead or it's its pushing your fucking shit in such as the spiral abyss later floors and some of the newer enemies.
The way hoyo is also designing new characters is absolutely dogshit as well, compare miko to for example zhongli, miko is somewhat hard to fit on a team and only certain builds will take her over fischl as a battery even when raiden exists, but with zhongli nearly every team appreciates chunky geo shields to some degree. Shenwho also did this with her retarded cryo only buffs up until asc. level 4 where she unlocks the only reason to use her aside from ganyu teams. Almost all of the new characters feel a lot more niche and have specific uses over ones that you can just splash onto most teams and call it a day. And the fact that power creep is so prevalent to the point where broken fuckers like diluc fell outta the """""meta""""" in favor of characters that can do more damage in addition to dealing more damage is honestly a testament to how poorly balanced this game is to the point where raiden basically rules this game's """""meta""""" with an iron fist and if you're looking for good results fast just splash her on a team with bennett and you have free gems from the abyss.
Honestly this game is going to power creep itself into a fucking hole if it doesn't stop soon but maybe this is why most of the new 5 stars are dogshit compared to the raidens and kazuhas of old.

This is not a bad thing, as combat is not the only focus so it doesnt need to be complex. if it was a combat centric game it would be a problem, but its roped in lore fags and openworld puzzle shit. if not for the gatcha this would be a solid 9/10 game.
