You can play a hero for years and have tons of fun and then one day in a patch they get completely "reworked" for arbitrary reasons of some retard who deemed it "not competitive" or "toxic" or whatever excuse. And boom, that's it, the classic version is gone for good. It's like the designers have no respect for their own characters.
